Stronger Together

AHMA is proud to share its expertise and partner with organizations, large and small. Our partner and member relationships allow us to develop a better tomorrow for all of our Indigenous communities. Our members and partners have developed a variety of excellent programs that improve access to housing, services, and programs to enhance living standards for Indigenous families.

Our partners include BC Housing, BC Non-Profit Housing Association (BCNPHA), the University of British Columbia, the Co-operative Housing Federation of BC (CHFBC), the Canadian Housing Renewal Association (CHRA), the First Nations Health Authority, and more.

Partnering with AHMA offers an abundance of opportunities to broaden understanding of Indigenous culture and housing issues.

Start the Process

The benefits of becoming an AHMA Member include access to funding, operational and asset management support, receiving the latest non-profit housing sector information and training, connection with other Indigenous housing providers, and so much more.

AHMA has 2 membership categories that we call corporate and non-corporate:

Corporate members are Indigenous housing societies who are full AHMA members. These societies have Operational Agreements with AHMA and receive funding from AHMA.

Non-corporate members can be those who provide services or programs for Indigenous housing but they do not have Operational Agreements with AHMA. Non-corporate members do not receive funding from AHMA. These members tend to be service partners, First Nations, and housing allies who have information sharing relationships with AHMA.
