The following is a list of programs and services offering a range of guidance and support to communities throughout British Columbia. These resources are either provided by, operated by, or supported by one of AHMA's Housing Providers or Partners. They are included here as a resource for the public.

Canada Wide: Community Housing Transformation Centre
The Community Housing Transformation Centre (The Centre) is a new pan-Canadian non-profit organization. AHMA CEO Margaret Pfoh sits on the Board of Directors for the Centre and there they believe everyone deserves a safe, affordable place to call home. They are working towards a more entrepreneurial and economically viable model of community housing – one that will serve the needs of Canadians now and in the future.

Community Voice Mail (CVM) - Lu'ma Native Housing Society - We provide local phone numbers with voicemail to people who are homeless &/or phoneless, giving them the tool they need to connect to job, housing, social services opportunities and to stay in touch with their family.
Ready to Rent BC - Provides education and support to tenants and landlords with the goal of healthy tenancies.
Residential Tenancy Branch (RTB) - Both tenants and landlords have specific rights and responsibilities in a tenancy. Make sure you're renting the right way - access information and resources that will help you have a successful tenancy.
Tenant Resource & Advisory Centre (TRAC) - Our purpose is to promote the legal protection of residential tenants across BC by providing information, education, support and research on residential tenancy matters.
Government of B.C. - Aboriginal Organizations & Services - This is a resource listing of Aboriginal community-based services and organizations.

A Guide to Aboriginal Resources in Greater Vancouver - Lu'ma Native Housing Society - Our guides purpose is to provide information, help you search, help you navigate, help you make good decisions, help you reach your goals in your transition to Greater Vancouver.
Aboriginal Patients Lodge - Lu'ma Native Housing Society - We serve over 400 guests per year coming to Vancouver from communities across the province for surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, pregnancy, transplant operations, diagnostic tests, and appointments. Our patient guests range in age from infants to elders. Our Lodge is the top choice fro long term patients who need to cook for their special diet and heal during treatment.
Lu'ma Medical Clinic - Lu'ma Native Housing Society - The Lu’Ma Medical Centre provides a culturally safe and supportive site for both the Indigenous as well as the non-Indigenous community to access full service family medicine as well as internal medicine services.
ISLAND & COASTAL REGION
Hiiye'yu Lelum (House of Friendship) Society - The society provides health, social, recreational, and cultural services to promote individual, family, and community self-reliance. From parenting to homelessness programs they have a variety of support networks available.
Hulitan Family & Community Services Society - Hulitan preserves, unifies and advocates for Indigenous families by supporting healing and fostering resilience through culturally rooted programs, services and collaboration with community partners.
Success By 6 - Success By 6 is an initiative dedicated to ensuring Indigenous children ages 0 to 6 have access to programs that support their healthy growth and development. This website offers information to all community members on initiatives happening in local Nations/Districts and Urban Aboriginal agencies around the early years of child development.
Surrounded by Cedar Child & Family Services - Provides a variety of programs focused on families and children. From child and youth counselling, to fostering and cultural programming the organization is dedicated to helping families thrive.
Victoria Native and Friendship Centre - VNFC delivers career and employment services, Health and Social programs, vibrant youth initiatives, and dynamic arts and cultural programs. The centre is also equipped with excellent Health Services, their health support system gives aboriginals access to services that can improve and or maintain a healthy happy life.

Prenatal/Nutrition Program - Conayt Friendship Soceity - The Canada Prenatal Nutrition Program (CPNP) funds community groups such as Merritt Mom's Prenatal Program to develop or enhance programs for vulnerable pregnant women.
Merritt Family Development Program - Conayt Friendship Society - This program reaches families and single mothers/fathers of children ages 0-6 with raising their children in a healthy way.
Aboriginal Infant and Early Childhood Development (AIECD) - Vernon First Nations Friendship Centre - The AIECD Program believes in traditional Aboriginal teachings, knowledge, respect, individualized programs and a belief in families. They support health and wellness to meet the developmental needs of children because a healthy and safe childhood is a most basic human right.
Aboriginal Supported Child Development - Vernon First Nations Friendship Centre - This program provides intervention services to children with special needs.
First Nations Employment Services - Vernon First Nations Friendship Centre - This program is designated to increase the employability and employment rate of First Nations people in the North Okanagan area.

Food Bank Program - Fort Nelson Aboriginal Friendship Society - Run entirely on donations, this program runs twice a month—every second Thursday—providing food supplements to unemployed/underemployed individuals and families.
Better Home Program - Prince George Friendship Centre - The Prince George Better At Home Program is designed to help seniors remain independent at home and stay connected with the community by providing a helping hand.
